Hello! I am HyperWasHere, a SoCal based artist, writer, and designer who is currently attending UC San Diego for my undergraduate degree!I create art not for my major, but because I have to. NOVEL

In largest major city standing, celebrity model and military superstar Rei Briar is the next in line to lead the SPADES public defense force. After losing his brother and countless others to the war against a deadly biological plague, Rei is tasked with keeping the peace between his people and its quarantined sister city, known as Sanctuary, until a cure is found.Though he prefers to work alone, Rei is assigned a new partner in combat—a sharp-witted (yet somewhat annoying?!) boy from the slums who gradually makes him reconsider what he really wants from his life and legacy. As tensions rise between the two cities, Rei begins to question whether the burden of leadership is truly his to bear—or if he’s already in too deep to walk away.-If you're into eco-brutalist dystopias with a twist on body horror, as well as found families, dumpster-fire relationships, and unexpected friendships, come join our journey towards making this novel!co-written by HyperWasHere and Vixombie, who became partners after the collective fixation on our original characters! :)
